Certifications

Magellan is very attached to quality, both with respect to the care provided to patients and its operation as a company. In order to achieve this goal, we always make efforts to be compliant with the stringent standards of national and international guidelines.

Quality of medical services
Continuous improvement is part of our daily culture and we are always developing our internal structures and procedures. In 2016, Magellan became the first outpatient facility in Romandy to obtain the EQUAM certification for several of its medical centres. Training organization
Magellan is also recognised as a high-quality training centre, having a large number of apprenticeship positions for medical assistants, sales representatives, medical secretaries, interns for the FCPM (Business Training for High School Graduates) programme. In 2018, we received the prize for the best training organization for medical assistant trainees, awarded by the Association de la Cité des métiers (City Association for Occupations). This prize is in recognition of the work we have done with the trainees and demonstrates our efforts to provide an excellent work environment to these future professionals who have a fundamental role in the healthcare system.

A responsible company
In our quest to conduct ourselves as a responsible and sustainable company, both from the standpoint of the ecological as well as the economical and social impact of our centres, we carried out an audit in 2020 and established a plan of action in the form of several improvement initiatives. Thus, we are proud to be a healthcare institution that incorporates sustainable development in its culture. We were awarded the ESR (Établissement de Soins Responsables, Responsible Healthcare Organisation) label in October 2020.
